Master Data School
Blueprint for Success

Master data plays a critical role in enabling your business processes to contribute maximum value to your enterprise. Without master data planning, processes, standards and understanding, you will always struggle to achieve positive results.

This beginner course is a practical hands-on, interactive learning environment taught by a leading expert in managing master data programs, from planning to implementation, to sustainability – it is all geared to set you up for success.

The course objectives break down the value of Master Data to three simple platforms:

Unlock the Value of Master Data through
     1. Asset Information
     2. Business Rules

     3. Governance

Your take away will be the Master Data Blueprint that enables immediate results. Understand and explore the choices available for:
    • Structure
    • Taxonomy
    • Governance and Integrity
    • Data collection and loading techniques
    • Configuration
    • Integration
    • Metrics

Make a real impact on your business results by creating a solid foundation for your asset data, not only to support your Enterprise Asset Management initiatives, but also to make them flourish!

We are using a local Calgary instructor who has given several presentations for us in the US over the last 5 years. Also instructing the class is an independent consultant from the US that recently was employed at Nova Chemicals, until the recent acquisition.

In the United States, the program is typically held in a hotel, but sometimes we might run them directly at a local corporation. For this program we would likely use the Hyatt Regency Calgary. We charge a fee to attend the training of $1,595.00 which includes breakfast and lunch for two days and all the course work associated. The program is focused for engineering Managers, Maintenance Engineers, Operations managers, IT support staff and managers, Team Leaders, Trades staff and Production Superintendents.
